Hello. Just though ad share my first appointment with you. So me and my partner got refered to fertility clinic was our first app today. I got weighed got my height taken had a vagil scan of my ovarys and had bloods taken for hormones ect. So my bmi is 36. For them to prescribe me any fertility medication my bmi has to be 30 or under (thats a bummer to hear). Partner has an app for the 22ndjuly to have his sperm tested,so my next app is on the 29th july so i have 5-6weeks to get my bmi down to 30(is it possible?) So dr was telling us all about the fertility treatments they do and information about them. Then wack straigh in the face.... because my partner has 2children (from previouse relationship) we are not eligable for <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> on the NHS because we are classed as a family!! ( what do we pay our taxes for??) My heart skipped a beat thinking what if anyother treatment dosnt work what are we going to do. So im thinking all the way home its not fair that we wont be offered it because he has children already🤔😢😕. Will we have to use all our savings that we have been saving for 3years for when we do have children.?. Fingers crossed i can het my bmi down to 30 and we can try the treatment on the 29th.
