How common is it to have 2 miscarriages in a row?

How common is it to have 2 miscarriages in a row? We had one in December and I’m pregnant again. Got the blood tests done today, waiting on results. Terrified for them!

“Miscarriage is usually a one-time occurrence. Most women who miscarry go on to have healthy pregnancies after miscarriage. A small number of women — 1 percent — will have repeated miscarriages.
The predicted risk of miscarriage in a future pregnancy remains about 20 percent after one miscarriage. After two consecutive miscarriages the risk of another miscarriage increases to about 28 percent, and after three or more consecutive miscarriages the risk of another miscarriage is about 43 percent.”

2% of women will have a second miscarriage and 1% of women will have 3 or more. Your chances to miscarry don’t increase until after 3. I had a second miscarriage and know of only 2 other women to have more than 1, but know more women who have had at least 1.

I've had 4 miscarriages, no living children. I have a diagnosis though. Every one and every pregnancy is different. Dont dwell on the past (I know it's hard, near impossible) just try to enjoy this pregnancy day by day.

I have had two miscarriages and know quite a few other women who have had two or more. I didn't think it was that common to have more than one, but the doctor I saw told me it is more common to have two miscarriages than people think. It's less common to have three or more.

I had one Feb 2018 and again Feb 2019. No pregnancies in between. Then I had one cycle and currently pregnant 12w2d. My doctor said third time was more likely to stick for me after my 2 miscarriages

In 2011 i had a missed miscarriage after that i had 2 healthy pregnancies. Feb 2017 bf (new partner) and i started trying for a baby well it took us some time july 8th i got my bfp but had a miscarriage at 6weeks 5days September 18th i got another bfp ended in a chemical i was 5weeks February 19th got my bfp ones again i had some complications during pregnancy and was at risk of another miscarriage but at the end everything turned out great and we had a healthy baby girl born at 37wks 6days now pregnant with bby #6 not planned but a blessing
