Is it easy for you to get birth control?

Just curious about women's experiences with getting birth control. Please feel free to comment about how easy/ hard the process was.

in California if you are a student at a public university you can get free birth control of any kind, I just saw a doctor at my schools health center and got the birth control that we thought was right for me

Yeah it was really easy. I'm so thankful. The first time I went to my gyn, we had a contraception talk. I told her I had my mind set. Although I was ready for denial (of insurance) I got my preferred method. So happy!

It was kinda hard for me like it took me a month before I got the pill. When I was at home I just didn't know where to go to get it. I went to my pediatrician and she said they don't do that, then when I got to school I knew my schools like medical center had it so I went in and I told the doctor why I was there and it was just that easy. So the little struggle I did have was because I didn't know where to go to get it (didn't know any gynos in my area either)

For me, it wasn't difficult to get a prescription. But, it was sometimes a hassle making the appointment with an obgyn yearly when I needed a refill. (I would forget, etc...)

The only was to get it was through an obgyn or planned parenthood.

Once, when my manufacturer quit making their pill, I had trouble getting a new prescription in time.
