Late period

I'm not sure where to ask this but I really need advice. The first day of my last period was the 25th of August. And according to this its a week and two days late. I've been getting really bad cramps like worse than ever since the day it was supposed to start but still no period. Anyone know why I'd be getting cramps but no period?
