I'm 16 and a sophomore in hs and this man is an English teacher at my school. He was a substitute in my history class one day last year and we became close. He found me crying one day bc of a vicious rumor and comforted me and hugged me. I just thought he was being nice but this year it started to get weird. He bought me a birthday present and I never told him my birthday. I thought he was being sweet. Then I was in the musical this year and my costume was a pair of shorts and a teenager shirt since it was taking place in summer and he was convinced they were too short and that they the hems needed to be taken out. He followed me into the dressing room and stood there and told me to get my shorts off and sit down while he fixed them. I felt very uncomfortable. He always makes an effort to find me in the hallway and check in on me and touch me on the shoulder of back or arm. Am I just being paranoid and is he being a caring teacher or is he being creepy. He was rumoured to be dating a student the year before me.
