My kid won’t be nameless!

So tonight, I sat my husband down and told him we were going to figure this out. (less than 7wks to go!) We narrowed it down to Zander and Maverick. I liked Maverick better but felt it was too popular so we mutually decided on Zander! I immediately got on Etsy and ordered his take home outfit and his name for above his crib.

Theeeen, I tossed and turned all night. Couldn’t sleep. Had dreams about this stupid sign etc and just felt like we made a mistake. I woke my poor husband up at 3am and was like hey...I think we’re wrong. He’s like what? And I told him how I felt and his reply was “I liked Maverick better this whole time but you seemed on the fence and I like both names so Zander was fine with me but I definitely like Maverick better.”

So here I am at 3:30am emailing Etsy shops asking to change personalizations because I had this overwhelming feeling of being wrong! I feel much more at ease now and Maverick it is...it just feels so much more natural to us! As popular as it seems, I don’t know a single Maverick so I’m going for it!!...before it becomes extremely popular with the new Top Gun coming out next year! lol at least my son can tell his buddies he had a sweet name before Top Gun 2 was even made! lol
