House shoes to church? Feet swollen...

Hello all, my feet are really swollen and I can only comfortably fit two pairs of shoes: adidas flip flops (for men) and my house shoes. My question is how bad would it be to wear house shoes to church?? I plan on wearing a dress and maybe tights underneath... Last Sunday I could tolerate my flats long enough to walk from the car to my seat, but not this time, they're way too tight. I'm 34 weeks and some change, no high blood pressure, very healthy pregnancy so far. I want to go, but I don't want to be an embarrassment to my family...

Lol your 34 weeks pregnant no one is going to blame you. God would rather you wear your house shoes than to not go at all.

Goodness, it's not bad at all! Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, not to be abused. Wear what you need to feel comfortable and present for worship. God doesn't care about your shoes.

If your church cares more about your outfit choices than the condition of your soul, it's time to find a new church! ✌🏼️

lol God would much rather see you in church in your slippers then not at all.  Anyone ever pregnant understands the feet swelling, just wear whatever you can and no worries.  I invested in a couple pairs of TED hose.  Not the most attractive things, but they really helped with the swelling, made it easier to at least walk.

It’s not bad at all! While I enjoy dressing up for church and wearing pretty things, it’s not a necessity. While I was pregnant I wore the same pair of black canvas shoes everywhere. If someone gives you heck at church, laugh it off and remind them Jesus washed feet so they can darn well tolerate yours. If the church as a whole has a problem with it... consider a new church. One that remembers hat it’s your heart that counts and not your clothes
