So if you've been following me here is my update. I haven't been on for a few days since it's been a rough time. My baby was technically not due until October 26 but he made his special debuts via c section on September 25 at 6:37 pm weighing in at 7lbs 4oz (mommy's big boy). To make this story shorter I was struggling in my third trimester with high blood pressure and feeling really flu like all the time. I could barely make it through the day. I had been I'm and out of the hospital for about two weeks. On September 24 I went to do some monitoring and turn in my 24 hour protein urine and ended up being admitted. The doctors tried to induce me that day and I labored until the next day but my cervix would not dilate past one cm and my contractions were strong but would not remain consistent and my bp would not stay stable even with the magnesium drip. My doctor decided it was best to do an emergency c section so that mommy and baby could both be healthy. This was not how I wanted my first birth to ever go. And my plan has not gone in any way shape or form the way I had set it out in my head and it's been an incredibly hard recovery trying to walk again and struggling with feeling like a failure due to not being able to birth naturally but I thank God for getting me through this and I love my sweet boy unconditionally. He is the most beautiful thing I have ever had the privilege of seeing. I would do everything again if I had to just to see his beautiful face. He is the light at the end of my tunnel and he reason I wanna wake up everyday. welcome to the world Liam David ♡
