Brooks middle or first name?

Definitely planning to call our son “Brooks” and I think Andrew Brooks sounds better. But for school/medical records/legal documents, it may be inconvenient for our son as he goes through life. What do you think?

If he’s going to be Brooks the majority of the time, I’d def do Brooks Andrew.

If you’re going to call him Brooks than I’d definitely make that his first name. I agree with your thought that it would be inconvenient for documents later on and I think even earlier with things like having to correct teachers at roll call in school.
