Blue dye?!

Has anyone had positive test with blue dye and actually been pregnant? 
Mostly everything I’m reading on here says that blue dye is unreliable just not sure why they have blue dye test if they are always false positives..?

Yes. Blue dye tests are just as reliable as pink dye tests, they have to meet the same standards.

I had a positive pregnancy text with the Walgreens brand blue dye. And I was def pregnant.

I think it's usually the Walmart brand(equate)
From what I've seen other people post, they always have a line when you hold them up to the light. I paid a little more for the clear blue and was definitely worth it

This is what my Walgreens test looked like and I was about 4-5 weeks

Very faint lines shouldn’t be trusted on blue dye. I’ve personally had a full faint blue line within testing timeframe that was not true.

I have taken a pink and then a blue one to confirm, unaware at the time about this debate. They were both def positive. That was 8 months ago and I still keep them (yes I know a bit gross) and neither of them has faded, so I'd say they make no difference.. if you're unsure about a test result tho, you could try retake with the other colour dye

Yes I have. But I never start with blue test. Usually confirm with lots of test and blues come up positive too when actually pregnant
