I’m a FTM, my girl is due Sept 7th. I’ve bought some stuff and have received many gifts. I opened her closet the other day because I have forgotten what I have and just realized I have only bought cute, unpractical clothes 🤦🏻‍♀️ no long sleeves, pants, pajamas. Pretty much nothing comfortable 🤦🏻‍♀️ I feel I don’t know anything lol

You’ve got plenty of time to buy practical stuff! I am registering for a fleece baby bunting that I’ll buy myself if I don’t get, as well as a bunch of long sleeve sleepers (target ones are my fav because the sleeves fold over their hands) and some fleece booties. I do have to keep reminding myself that I’ll have a winter baby, even though it will be summer when she’ll be born!

I love zip up sleepers for the first few months.
Separate pants and shirts and cute outfits are a pain in the neck at first! Especially when everything gets spit up and drooled on immediately. And your baby hates anything going on over the head of course...
Baby clothes are super cute and it's hard to resist buying the fancy little outfits though 😔

Zip up sleepers are the best thing for the first 3 or 4 months. It keeps them warm and is super easy to change diapers. Cutesy outfits are a pain and easily ruined by all the spit up and diaper explosions.

My son was in either a zip up sleeper or in a diaper only the first 1-2 months. It just made life easier to clean the spit up and it was frickin hot (he was born in April and we had an early and super hot summer that year). As for this one, we were given a bunch of girl clothes and as I was looking through them it was a bunch of tutus and impractical items 😂 I'm super grateful, but definitely happy I have whatever I kept from my son
