When did you introduce a bottle to your breastfed baby

Question

Right now I’m exclusively breastfeeding but I will need to go back to work at 12 weeks. I have been using a Haaka to start getting a little bit of a stash built up. I’m so tired from being the only one able to feed my daughter. My pediatrician said to wait 4 weeks and then start introducing one bottle a day with my breast milk. My daughter is only 2 weeks today. Just curious when did you introduce a bottle (if you ever did) and did it affect your baby’s latch afterwards??

3 days old with my first two and 4 weeks with my third. No issues. All nursed and bottle fed just fine. Nipple confusion is a lot more rare than people think. Also, if you wait too long to introduce a bottle they are more likely to reject it.

Day 1 bubs couldnt latch properly so was trying to latch first then give him expressed milk in bottle eventually he latched on with the help of nipple shields for 2 weeks he has never had nipple confusion my pediatrician doesn't believe in such thing it's more like what baby  pefers but she recommends sooner the better but it's up you it's so good having my husband feed him when I need a break just go even have a decent shower or sleep

Day one, since she wouldn’t latch well until we got tongue/lip tie fixed at almost 2 months. No nipple confusion.

The day we got home with pumped milk she never had nipple confusion she had a pacifier in the hospital and my supply was amazing I have friends that took till their supplies were established and their babies never took bottles and would go as far as not drinking while mom was gone

My lo is 2 weeks old and we started just now. She gets one a day from dad when he gets home from work. She hasn’t had any problems so far and it’s been three days.
I started at 2 weeks with my son too (2 yo now) and he never had any problems with switching between bottle and breast. I nursed him when I was home and he had bottles at daycare.

My daughter was a week old when we introduced a bottle, and my current son (1.5 weeks old) was just a few DAYS old. With both of them, I gave a bottle for one feeding (I pumped while my husband fed) and then breastfed the next feeding. At night, I would breastfeed all feedings (got lazy getting up to pump). However, during the day, we would follow the routine of bottle, then breast, bottle, then breast. Both of my kids had no issues with nipple confusion. 
My lactation consultant did mention that when giving a bottle for the first time, have your LO suck for a few seconds, then take the bottle out for a few seconds, since the flow is a little faster with a bottle than your breast is. My son choked and coughed more at first with a bottle, so we really take things slower with the bottle for him. Every baby is different, of course, so try to find what works for your baby.
