So my mum won't let me have long pads or use tampoms, I'm 14, and small pads are to small. She claims long pads are for 50+ and tampons is just a NO. I can't go to the shops and buy them as she is over protective and my friends aren't an option as they haven't started their periods. My dad doesn't even know what they look like so I am stuck. What can I say to my mum to allow me to use long size pads and tampons?

EDIT: thanks everyone I’ve finally got my mum to buy me long pads but sadly they’re are Tesco’s own 😢 not breathable at all. It’s honestly not fair as she gets herself always, so now I need to convince her into getting me always as well
