So, I own a '15 Wrangler, love it, best vehicle yet, I even named her L.O.L.A (little old ladies automobile)

I also own a '73 challenger.. but that's a "Sunday driver".. that we've been working on since the day I bought it.. like two years ago:

(she just got new tires and rims, and her transmission leak fixed.)

Anyways, so obviously.. my husband and I are into cars, I worked for his father doing body work and learned how to paint cars.. and we are both in a few car clubs.. and we have a one year old daughter (well she's 15 months now).. our daughter only rides in my jeep or in my husbands 06 Dodge ram 3500 with a Cummins turbo diesel.

I have a freedom hard top on the jeep so I can take off the front top panels without having to remove the whole top on the jeep.. but when she's in the car with me I typically just roll the front windows down and leave the front panels on.. and I've never taken my doors off with her in the vehicle. (Too scared, lol)

However, at some of the jeep meets I've gone to (which I don't take my daughter to) I'll have my top off and doors off because we are typically going to go on a trail.. and there are some people that bring their dogs with them.. and even their children with them that are around my child's age..

And even when we've gone to Mopar meets.. I've seen people bring their young children along and do like dumb ass shit in their vehicles.. my husband will typically follow me while I'll drive the Challenger or I'll follow him in his truck while he drives the Challenger.. and we will go to the quarter mile track and do a few runs like once a month in the Challenger or he will do a test and tune in his truck.. but our child isnt ever in the vehicle when we are doing these things because.. well, quite frankly.. the track operators wouldn't let that shit fly.. but then we will see idiots leaving the track with their child[ren] in their cars doing burn outs, fish tailing.. just being fucking morons showing off.. with small children in the backseats of these older muscle cars.. (roadrunners, gtx's, satellites, cudas, dusters, ect.)

I've seen people roll their Jeep's with their dogs in them.. and have seen some peoples dogs jump out of their Jeep's when they are about to roll.. and I've seen some parents do some sketchy ass stunts in their Jeep's with their children in the back, in their car seats.. also, it's not uncommon to see people driving on the highway with the tops and doors off.. with their kid strapped in a car seat in the back.. and I don't like to start shit so.. I don't say shit..

I like to consider myself a "fun but also safe" parent that likes to reduce the risk of my child or animal being hurt.. in a vehicle that already isn't exactly the "ideal family vehicle".. because, Jeep's aren't typically known for being the safest vehicle on the road.. so, if I remove my child's car seat, I head over to the fire station and have the car seat safety guru take a second look at it to make sure it's installed correctly.. I don't have anything in my vehicle that could act as a projectile in the event of an accident, I don't road rage, I don't do stupid shit..

Anyways, the point of this question is:

1. Do you/would you judge a parent for going tops off/doors off with a young child[ren] (like under 5) on the highway?

2. Do you/would you judge a parent doing burnouts, squealing the tires, fishtailing, doughnuts, excessive speeding, ect.. with their young child[ren] in the back seat?

3. Do you/would you judge a person going trail riding with the top off/doors off for bringing their dog or young child[ren] with them along for the ride?

Or am I actually not as "fun" of a parent as I think I am because, I don't bring my child to things like this or let her be in the vehicle when her or my husband are doing something stupid?

Just a FYI if you're still reading and wondering: our daughter wears protective ear covers at the track, when she goes with us.
