Home baby Doppler?

Hi lady’s,
So a while ago I bought and baby Doppler off of Amazon. I used it only a handful of times when I. Was 6-8 weeks and wasn’t sure if I was ACTUALLY picking up the heart beat or not. 
Do you guys think I could actually hear it and pick it up now? Or is it just one of those things that has a lot of hype and doesn’t work?

In the UK they are actually thinking about banning home doppler because they create so much anxiety. They can pick up your heartbeat, or the placentas blood flow which sounds like a heartbeat and unless your a trained medical professional you have no way of knowing if its baby's. 
They dont even use them until 16 week appointments to try and listen to the baby over here. 
Until 12 weeks your uterus is tucked behind your pelvic bone so it's unlikely you would be able to hear babys heartbeat before that.

I found my baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler at around 10-11 weeks.

I just got one today and listened to my baby’s heartbeat it took a while but I found it faintly! I am 8 weeks 4 days. You have to really listen but you know that heartbeat when you hear it! You can also hear yours down there so just be careful you pick up the right one 😊

Of course it works. But not at 6-8 weeks when your baby is the size of a blueberry lol. I could find my daughters around 12 weeks

I was able to find my twins at 9 weeks :) the easiest way I could tell if it was my HB or babies is I'd check my pulse when i found a HB to make sure it wasn't mine :)
