Changing Your Religion?

Question

If you could not be the religion you are any longer, what religion would you be a part of instead?

For example: 
I am Baptist. 
If I could not be Baptist anymore I would become Hindu.

Explain the reason behind your hypothetical conversion.

Recently, I couldn't ignore the Call of the Gods. I've switched from being born and raised a devout Lutheran to Astru. It's the modern day name for the Old Norse religion.

I've never been comfortable in church, Sunday school or even Luther League(confirmation). At one point before I was married I even asked the Abrahamic people's God, or rather stated "Hey, this is weird, I don't fit in, you know it, I know it, what do I do?"

I was sitting in the back pew, during a sermon, and this was during the silent reflection portion. I heard a very loud booming voice say "Go, you are not mine. You are a wolf of Odin, not a lamb of God."

I struggled with that concept till early last year. I pray to Thor, Eir, Frigga, Freya, and Loki most often. As they all have traits that I need for nursing school, and just being myself. Another part of the religion is ancestor worship. Opa passed away when I was 5, the 3 or so times he's appeared to me, he's steered me towards the right path. So has stor mormor (Great maternal grandmother) Ester. However stor morfar, is usually a cheeky dick and messes up my day.

Eventually, I'd like to be a völva, which I think is a cross between a witch & priestess. It's the highest position on Viking culture, it means that I can communicate with the Gods, ancestors and fae folk with ease. I can read signs and runes with great ease. I'd like to be that way so if I happen to run into someone like me, and they think my Gods are calling them I can help them. That, and it'd come in handy once our children finally get here.

As an atheist, it's hard to say "if I believed I would belive in this" because it's all so ridiculous to me.

But, I do like the mythology of the Greeks and the Norse.

Well I'm practically an atheist with a twist, aLaVeyan satanist, which lacks beliefs in all things supernatural. So I guess if I HAD to choose something it'd either be taoism or Wicca(n)

I was raised atheist, went to church with neighbors it didn't feel right, to much like going to school also to controlled and political. Then I met a friend who was Wiccan and it was everything that felt right. Then I looked into paganism as a whole and everything felt right. I have always loved mythology, dragons, nature, animals and gods old. I would rather be under the stars camping (mesquito free) than inside.
