Thyroid issue

a couple years ago I got really sick had a high fever for months, bad fatigue, and my glands in my head and neck were swollen my joints hurt too bad I had no appetite and couldn't get out of bed... they took a lot of blood but couldn't find anything I got better but since then I haven't been the same I'm tired all the time fatigued and don't have much of an appetite I also bruise easily and I'm losing hair.. they've checked my blood and can't find anything should I try basal body temp. To check does this sound like I have a thyroid condition?
