What is a wedding party? Who walks it?

Small wedding (15-20 people) so not sure if this is necessary. Fiancé has a best man, one groomsmen, I have one bridesmaid. Not sure if that would look strange? Our daughter is 3 and want her to be the flower girl however she’s horribly shy. Would it be awkward to have my Grandma hold her hand down the aisle, and my Grandma sprinkle petals (maybe our daughter too, it really depends on her mood lol)? My Dad will be walking me down the aisle, and fiancé’s Dad will be present but they are not close. His mother wont be attending. Advice?

You could have the best man walk your mom down and seat her? Then the bridesmaid and groomsmen could walk together.

Have your daughter be your maid of honor /flower girl. The groomsman and bridesmaid walk down together. Then the best man walk your daughter down. Put her in a wagon or something so she can just sit and throw petals if she wants

Our 2.5 year old at the time wasn’t wanting to walk down the isle. My mom swooped in and ended up carrying her down the isle and daughter threw the petals. Everybody loved it!

I had a small wedding of about 20 people. 
Our son and daughter were the flower girl and ring bearer. We would have had 1 best man and 1 maid of honor, but decided against it last minute. 
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what you suggested. I am an OCD freak so if he were having 2 on his side, I’d want 2 women on my side, but to each his own. 
I think it’s sweet the idea of your daughter walking with someone since she’s so shy. 
What I learned is make it intimate and special for you. Everyone else will just need to get on board. If they can’t, then they don’t need to be involved. 
I loved the fact that my wedding was so personal and intimate. Every person there and how it was arranged, etc. was all specifically personal to us. Every person had a special meaning, every act had a significant meaning, it was just magical. (We didn’t have all the drama of too many people being involved and us doing things just so other people were happy)
