Do I let him sleep?

Question

My 11 month old is still taking 2 naps a day. He usually sleeps the night but he is teething bad these past 2 days and wakes all night and the poor thing looks so miserable. (even with ibprophen and Tylenol)
My question is because he didn't sleep good his typical first nap way early today but now he's almost been asleep for 2 hours and I know he will still want his other nap later since it's early for him.
How long do I let him sleep? Will sleeping longer for naps while teething keep him up at night? (if he isn't already up from the pain)

I'd let him sleep and worry about correcting his sleep patterns when he is feeling better. Keeping/waking him up will only make him more exhausted and more grouchy.
I know another comment recommended anbesol, but that is not safe. Anbesol, orajel (even baby orajel), and any other numbing/teething medications are not safe or recommended by the FDA for use in babies. It can cause them to asphyxiate or cause a condition called methemoglobinemia, which means it reduces the amount of oxygen in their bloodstream.

Babyganics teething pods! They're organic and safe! My daughter used them for her first few teeth and she loved them. Didnt even use tylenol or anything. I also suggest getting teething toys. My baby has a large variety of toys designed for her to chew them. Each toy is different and it works for is. I know they all work in their own way and sge has access to all equally and can decide what she needs at that time. If you feel the need for instant relief Try freezing a damp wash cloth he can suck/chew on and the coolness will help sooth his gums. Also make sure you're brushing gently to help them break through the gums and the massaging circles motion helps best for this and baby will feel better on brushing teeth once they are in if you start brushing them now.

I would cut it down to 1 nap a day.. have you tried anbesol it comes in liquid or gel Iv always found liquid works best.. Iv recommend it to some friends and they have all sed how good it is x hope it helps
