Vent session.. Very much needed!!

So I need to rant and rave for a minute. I have been so irritated with my husband and stepdaughter lately. Now some of this is probably partly hormonal but some is him being a pain!!!!

He just pushes my buttons and he does half of it on purpose. Then my step daughter doesn't listen to a damn thing I say. One example today, she knows she's not to jump rope in the house. I don't think this is unreasonable or a mean request. The kid is so uncoordinated and we have chandelier type lights. So she tells my husband Shelby says I can't jump rope. I said it's nice out go do it outside. She says no and a minute later starts jumping roping in the dining room. So I tell her to listen and that I said not to do it and go outside and do it. She throws a huge fit and runs outside to pout. My husband says nothing to her, but tells me I'm being mean and picking on her.

Omg why can't I have rules? I'm an adult in this house, I said don't jump rope, that should be the end of the discussion.

I've been crying all afternoon I just can't stand feeling disrespected and not listened to. It's so irritating and overwhelming!!

Okay I'm sorry my vent session is over, I just needed to get these things out!!!!
