Implantation?

GIRLS. I am experiencing some VERY light bleeding and I’m not due for another 8 days. Also woke up with heartburn which never happens to me unless I drink. Tell me your implantation bleeding experiences!!!

Implantation bleeding is actually rare. It’s more common for mid-cycle bleeding to happen due to a drop in progesterone. Sometimes the body gears up for AF and you’ll see some spotting from it. 
I may or may not have had it when I got pregnant with my son. I did notice very light pink spotting which I thought was AF coming but it never got heavier and it went away that very same day. I wasn’t tracking my periods religiously like I do now at that time so hard to say if that was actually implantation bleeding or not. 
It very well could be for you but the only way to really know if it’s pregnancy related is to take a test after your period is late.

As common as it sounds, implantation bleeding is actually quite rare and a lot of women don’t even realise it happens! I didn’t experience it through either of my pregnancies. 
However through hearing friends experiences it’s only ever very light pink spotting that only lasts at the most a couple days. It’s not a proper red bleed as such. It tends to happen anywhere between 7-12 days after ovulation. 8 days before a missed period is quite early to experience it but it still could be it. 
Best thing you can do is wait it out, and test if period doesn’t show!

I only bleed enough for one wipe and if I wasn’t paying attention I would have missed that there was blood.
