Inconclusive Nip test- we have decided to stop worry

TdeB

An inconclusive NIP test - twice; this apparently happens with 1% of pregnant women. For these women, some studies show, there appears to be an increased risk (how much is not clear) for chromosome abnormalities. Needless to say, we didn't have the faintest idea when these inconclusive tests happened to us. We were really stupid for not resisting the urge to google, alarming us even more.

One and a half week, two hospital visits and two ultrasounds later we have decided to stay positive and not to generate more stress by doing an amnio, which theoretically could harm our baby boy.

Please send your prayers and best wishes!
