More than 1 set of multiples?

Anyone have more than 1 set of multiples? We have 3 kids; 1 set of twins and would like to try for 1 more. We are a little nervous to get twins again. We know the chances are higher after you have twins. We did need clomid to get pregnant and for twins the first round. We want to try without meds to see if we can get pregnant. Our twins are 2 and our oldest is 4.

I feel like the clomid is prolly why you got twins in the first place, but scientifically I know if they are fraternal there’s a 1 in 12 chance you will get another set of twins. If they are identical then it was just a fluke (nothing to do with your ovulation) so your chances are like none to get another set of twins.

I took femara with my last pregnancy and that resulted in twin boys. 
They are one now. 
We are pregnant again and the early scan showed only one baby but we didn’t use femara this time so I’m guessing it was the femara. ❤️

I was talking to Lacey about this recently! I know someone who just had her 3rd set of twins all naturally. Her first are identical twin girls, second set are fraternal boys, and shes not sure if this set are fraternal or identical. That's INSANE. I want more kids, but knowing there's a chance of twins again makes my uterus shrivel up and die 🤣 if you get pregnant I hope it's not twins. Best of luck 😘

I wonder about this too - I also took meds and I’m not sure if we still have that higher risk of having another set of twins, or if it’s just the case for those who conceive naturally? I’m part of a fb group for mums of twins in my country, and there are thousands of members and just a few who have 2 sets. I wouldn’t think it’d be highly likely, but it’s a possibility you’d need to keep in mind if having another baby.
