Initiating sex

What would be the least awkward way to initiate sex? I’ve been seeing this guy for almost 3 months and the sex is amazing. He’s definitely the initiator and he told me that he wants me to initiate it every once in a while. I’m super shy. I’m pretty much down for anything when he starts it, but I feel so nervous to be the one to start it 😬

Do you guys have any tips on how to make it not awkward, for me at least? How do you ladies do it?
