High prolactin?

Has anyone experienced elevated prolactin levels?
They tested me 2 weeks ago at 23, and now it read 65 and they’re concerned. 
I read up that it can be caused by a tumor, and that scares me. They want an MRI but I don’t even think I can afford that.

I had high prolactin when we did blood tests last year and it kept going up, last test showed 39.8. They had me do an MRI because all my hormone levels were elevated and inconsistant with each other. Turns out I actually do have a tumor on my pituitary gland like they thought. I've been taking a medication for about a month and should be finding out in the next few days if it's working or not

Just do it and see if you can go on a payment plan. I wouldn’t hold off on something like that.
