I failed both. I’m managing with diet only so far, thank goodness. I highly recommend the book Real Food for Gestational Diabetes by Lily Nichols. Basically- limit carbs and sugar. Protein and healthy  fat help to balance carbs you do eat, and keep glucose from spiking. Her perspective made a lot of sense to me and seems to be working very well. It is irritating that I can’t eat how I want but I keep telling myself it is short term… and me eating better now keeps baby healthier long term. I don’t want my choices to have a bad impact on her little body! ❤️

I failed the one hour big time. Numbers were 203. Then I passed the three hour judt fine.
