So i have thought of quite a controversial idea. So a local animal shelter that does euthanize animals has a very high adoption fee and a list of requirements to adopt an animal from them. So with the fee granted these animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations but the starting fee for animals is 100$ once you have chosen an animal they interview you and if you want you animal to be so much and even indoor/outdoor they will not allow you to adopt it. So my question is how are they helping animals if they would rather keep them and have to euthanize them instead of allowing them to go to a good home where they may be outside but will be loved and cared for?
