Is anyone else a stay at home wife?

Question

I recently became a stay at home wife due to me and my husband started our fertility treatments and we are doing

and I have a lot of appointments and sessions I have to go to and my work wasn’t co-operative I also am starting school full time in August. I was just wondering besides helping around the house what do you do to keep busy? I feel guilty that I’m just here some days while my hubby is working. He assured me we are fine and I was only making 10$ an hour and it’s not much so it doesn’t really make a difference. Mostly I just spend the day cleaning the house so he knows I wasn’t just being lazy. He always tells me thank you for working hard the house looks beautiful but I feel so guilty still I’ve worked my whole life. And I feel bad asking for money for things and if I want anything I have to ask him. Anyone relate?

I have thought about looking for another job so no rude comments please. I’m just asking if anyone has felt the same way and what they did. I want to get my hair done again since my highlights are fading from my hair growth and I feel so bad asking him for money to go do it😔

Babysitting gigs? A lot of people need backup childcare if their childcare falls through or their kids had a cold. And you’d get some more practice with kids for when you have one of your own. 
There are also lots of hobbies that can become a side hustle if you want: many types of crafting, being an home organizer, artistic pursuits, etc.  I’d recommend picking something you like; even if you don’t make a lot of money, it might pay for itself with a little extra to do your hair. 
Oh, and avoid multilevel marketing. Those are scams; most people who start selling makeup or leggings or whatever never even break even.

I’m currently a stay at home wife and took some time off from my job due to a disability and I agree it’s so hard to not be working. I I try my best to cook and clean for him and he definitely appreciates it. But I see where you’re coming from. Tell your hubby how you feel and go from there. You may be able to work out a compromise or he may just tell you that it doesn’t bother him you’re at home.

I personally would fine it hard to be a stay at home wife. I guess I would just get bored. Yes cleaning and cooking takes time, but I wouldn’t think it would fill a whole day. However, I’ve never experienced fertility treatments, and I can’t imagine that that would be easy on the body. If you and your husband are okay with it and it works for you, I don’t see the problem! And if you feel like you need to do a little “something” here or there to bring in some money or simply if you get bored, you always can!
