What's the trick??

Question

So I just got my first cup and I'm trying it out! Removal is a bit tricky though. I feel like the angle is really weird to be able to get a finger (or more???) up there to pinch the bottom or break the seal. Any tips and tricks?? TIA!

Try it in the shower, makes removal, cleaning, and reinsertion pretty easy. If you use your vaginal muscles to give it a little push down, it’ll make it easier to get a finger up the side to break suction.

Def. pee before removal. Try to not clench your Kegel muscles, otherwise you will be pulling the cup with a lot more effort. Sometimes I squat to put in or remove, or I put one leg up. Gives me more access and better grip. You gotta find what works better for you.

I do it over a toilet and make sure there's toilet paper in the bowl first before pouring out the blood on to the toilet paper in the bowl. Otherwise the blood tends to stick to the toilet bowl and doesn't get flushed away 100%!

Bear down (like you're i pushing it out) and breathe out slowly to help your muscles relax.  Sometimes i use both hands. I pull on the tab until the other hand can pinch the base and pull it out.

It is hard and awkward at first but it’s gets easier I promise! What works for me is to sit on the toilet, bend over until my stomach touches my knees, and push down with my muscles like I’m about to pee (if you want to pee, it’s better to pee first or you’ll pee your hand 😂). The bending opens up the vagina and makes it so much easier to manipulate inside. And the muscles push the cup out where you can grab it with your fingers. I grab it by the loop (some have stems) or the butt and insert one finger inside to and push on the rim to break the suction. And then it’s easy to pull it out. 
With insertion it’s kinda the same thing. The key is to bend over. I do the pull-down fold and put it inside. Then I start pressing on the cup with my finger to help it open up the folds. To help it with suction, I press on the walls of vagina. Then to check the suction I run my finger around to check for dents; it should have a rounded shape. You can also pull it by the stem, but it not always guaranties absents of leaks.
