It’s good exercise and feels good to stretch out the hips and helps with back pain.

It helped the pain in my hips during pregnancy but I couldn't use it when I was actually in labor, I just felt more pain.

No. You don’t really need one during pregnancy, i used one at the hospital in labor and it made things so much worse lolllll haha
