Failed making chow main 😭

Girls! Someone who knows how to make chow mein help me!

I’ve made like 3 similar chow mein recipes but they all end up tasting the same “no flavor”

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong...

Hope someone can help me out with tips...

Im tired of buying it often because my son is a picky eater and doesn’t eat much but this is one of his favorite things but when I make it he refuses to eat it cause he says it tastes weird 🙈😭 lol
