Finding out gender via genetic screening

April

So at 10 weeks we had the genetic screening done through my OBs office. We got the results back in like 3 days which was waaaay quicker than I anticipated. We were told everything was negative and that we are having a girl. From the beginning I felt like it was a boy so that was a big shock for me, but we had no preference we just want our healthy rainbow baby. Well at 12 weeks I had a scan and the tech said it looked like it could be a boy. I know at 12 weeks boys and girls still look similar so I didn’t think anything of it. Today at 14 weeks I went into my OBs office and she scanned me just to check on baby’s growth. While she was scanning me she asked if I knew what I was having and before I could say anything she said is it a boy. I said no and she looked confused lol. Again I know it’s still early and she could still be swollen down there. But now I’m like kinda second guessing the DNA test even thought I know their accuracy. I have another scan in 2 weeks, I hope by then we can tell on US that she is in fact a girl. But has anyone been told by DNA test they were having one gender and told by US it was the opposite?

UPDATE: I went to my dr appt today where she did an ultrasound. I asked her to please confirm the gender. Without a doubt we saw baby is A GIRL! 🎀
