Contraceptive implant removed!
I'm not sure if this will get any attention but I got the implant out two days ago after suffering really extreme symptoms on it - headaches daily, shortness of breathe, chest pain, heart palpitations, numbness all over, low blood pressure, mental confusion, leg swelling and eye sight issues, dizziness, sleeping issues, back pain, etc. - for 9 months.
It was so bad I was seeing a doctor, cardiologist, neurologist and chiropractor hoping one of them might help some way or tell me what was so wrong with me. None of them at any point suggested it might be the implant but I also didn't fit any disease or disorder they could think of. Finally I realised that this had all started within 1 month of getting the implant, I had never had any contraceptive before that and I finally made the decision to get it out. Now I already feel better, sharper and happier. Not totally better, the freakiest thing is the numbness and shortness of breathe and they are still there - less severe though - but I feel like they should go away.
I am mostly curious for one; if anyone else had as extreme a reaction and would share them? And also; when you noticed your bodies return to normal? Whether your periods changed or your bodies didn't fully go back to the way they were before?
