Too early to tell?

Question

I’m going for a blood test next Monday (8DPO) to confirm if I ovulated as I got a positive OPK on Saturday 15th June.
I’m just wondering if they would also be able to check my HCG levels to see if I got pregnant successfully or would 8DPO be too early to see it on my blood work?

To early. I had my blood work done today to for progesterone levels and to see if I ovulated. Af is due in 6 days so I hope she doesn’t show and I’m already pregnant. Doctors said it would be to eat for blood and urine pregnancy tests.

Possibly too early. Implantation occurs anywhere between 6-12dpo. And there's no way of telling when you're going to implant.
If the fertilised egg implanted at 6dpo then yes the bloodwork will pick it up.
But, it's real important to note that if it doesn't pick it up at 8dpo that doesn't mean that you're definitely not pregnant this cycle - could just mean implantation hadn't happened prior to the blood test
