Been almost a year should I ask docs?

In a way I feel like the doctors would think I am crazy. So we have been trying for #2 since my daughter was 2months old, she is now 13months. Nothing has happened. I had endometriosis removed back January of this year been 6months since removal nothing. I have heard doctors wont help you til u been trying a year or longer and in my case it has. They know I am not on birth control and not trying to prevent it. I go for my year check up Monday would u think I would be crazy to ask for some help (ttc) or not. How would you word it about asking? Thanks
