How to get baby to drink water?
We are officially eating solid food purées in earnest, and the pediatrician also said that we can start giving her 2 to 4 ounces of water per day. Considering she needs the extra water to not get constipated from the extra food, I feel like it’s really important that she get that extra water, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how other than to sneak it into her formula and dilute it a little bit? Not decreasing the amount of formula, but just getting in some extra water. I try to give her some water after a solid foods meal, but if I try to spoon it into her mouth, it all just comes right back out, and if I try to put it in a little bottle, she gets frustrated that it’s not formula, even if she’s not hungry. Any advice for how to get more water into her?
