Test at 9 DPO? 5 days away from period

I'm a crazy lady who starts testing at 8DPO and continues until 13DPO when I give up and wait for my period. So I'm all about testing early.
If you were only going to test once though 9DPO would not be the day to do it. If that's the case I would say wait till you have missed your period and then test.

With my daughter I was going to wait but at 9dpo I couldn't help it I got home from a shopping trip and took a test and it was soooooo faint that I posted on here and everyone said it was negative. But I swore it was there!! Next day at 10dpo I got a positive for sure

You can. I started testing early because I wanted to do a line progression and to my surprise @ 8dpo I got my first positive.
