Hi guys any police officers out there? I applied to be a cadet (entry level) but the Application is very strict it asked for all my family history and I had to be honest my dad wasn’t the best and was arrested multiple times for bad stuff he also currently has warrants. It also asks if I had committed any crimes even if un found out about and I had to be honest since they do polypgraph testing. I had stolen when I was younger because my dad taught me it was okay. Do you think they really go based off your parental history and past? I think I’ll never get accepted now since I was honest. I’m not like that today i love helping people and I feel my past says more then who I am today😪
