My husband and I separated because I found out he was cheating on me with a girl in his company. We were in the process for getting an uncontested divorce when I moved back to my homestate and he moved in with this girl. He wants to rush this divorce and get it finalized so that he could marry this girl before she goes to Korea in a few months, so that he could keep BAH. This whole situation hurts so so bad. The person I said "I do" to, to spending the rest of my life with, to just turn around and stab me in the chest. I just dont understand how you could do that to someone you love, because I could never do that to him. Since I moved out of state, and he moved out of county, he couldnt submit the old papers we had because they had our old address on them and we couldnt get the mail. The clerk told my husband that he had to file as the petitioner, in order for me not to show up for the court date and the divorce be granted (I cant afford to be flying back and fourth) so he started the process over and petitioned. But anyway, is there a way to prolong the divorce process so that he cant rush marrying her, or a way to report the contract marriage?
