I've never been bashed on here for sharing my beliefs but I guess it's because I don't pull all that I'm right and your wrong crap. And nobody has the right to bully others for the beliefs. I saw a lot of bullying on here recently. Usually I've seen it the opposite way but this time around it was a religious troll pulling all sorts of evil things on the non-religious glowers. I hope she got banned permanently.

Maybe if people could stop telling me how sorry they feel for me, how lost I am, and how empty my life is because I am not religious, I wouldn't feel the need to get defensive. There is a difference between explaining your beliefs and witnessing/proselytizing.

Yes!! People who don't believe in a religion are so quick to be sarcastic and rude. When a religious person explains their belief, they are attacked and accused of "preaching" and "pushing their beliefs" on people. I've had awesome discussion with atheist, but it was because we respected each other's position and knowledge on their belief. If both sides could have an respectful conversation, both sides could learn SO MUCH. People are far too negative and too childish for such a debate.

Religion only seems to separate people instead of bringing them together. I have friends of many religions and they are awesome. We don't bash on each other's religions cause what matters is who we are. They don't even try to shove their religion down other people's throats but they do defend their views on their religion if others start throwing shit at them for believing in what they believe.
