Help with discharge

So I have been on the bar for almost 3 years now. I haven’t had a period in almost 2 years and today I started spotting but it’s more like a discharge. I am sexually active and I took a test 2-3 weeks ago and it came up negative and now this spotting happens I’m really confused If anyone can help give me insight that would be helpful. Thank you
