Is Babylist registry good and worth it?

I want to do mine there, but i dont want to do anything too complicated for people to buy from, or have nobody buy from it because they dont know what it is

As someone who has purchased from s babylist I hated it. It wa super annoying and not easy to use.

I recommend it simply for the free box of goodies you get with it, I suggest your favorite retailer (Target, Walmart, BuyBuyBaby, etc) or Amazon.
I would like to mention Target, Amazon, and BBB give out free goodies when you register with them. BBB gives you 20% off a single item coupon upfront! Great for a big money buy.

I just started my babylist and I love it. The best part (IMO) is that it shows all the other places that your shower guests can buy the items, and what the price is at each store. I asked my mom if her sisters/aunts would be fine with that concept and she said everything’s all online now anyway. I say go for it!

Not many people bought from it but it was really convenient to have it all in 1 place and see the price comparison. I did the registries at target, Amazon, buy buy baby and Walmart them combined them on Babylist

I signed up for the baby box and and then really looked at it. I found it super nice to combine all my registry’s and super easy to add an item from any website just with one click.

I had a friend registered on it, and like others have said I thought it was not very user friendly, kind of confusing and hard to work around. Because of this, I opted to not do a babylist registry with my pregnancy.

It was very easy to use to make the registry and you can add stuff from anywhere.
From a buyer perspective, it's not the most straightforward platform and you have to go back in to mark an item as purchased which people never do so you could get multiple of the same thing. It does show the prices at different stores so you can decide where to purchase it from.
The completion discount is kind of a joke since their prices are all higher to begin with. The discount brings items back down to the normal pricing elsewhere. There also isn't a huge selection of items.

I had a registry with amazon and Walmart. I saw an ad for baby list and decided to give it a try now I have both registries combined and way more organized than before. Def should have been my first option.

I love that you can put things from different stores on your registry without having to make five different registries. I loved it.
