How did you know you were ready to get married?

I’m very curious. I am young (23) but I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with someone. How did you know and when did you know?

I got married when I was 23. I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with someone other than my boyfriend now husband. He is my best friend, had no interest in anyone else. That’s how I knew I was ready also you can never really be ready but you just know when you love someone

Got with my now husband when I was 15, got married at 19 and we’ve now been together 10 yrs ☺️ I just felt very settled, had no interest in other men, sounds soppy but his my best friend and husband and I couldn’t ask for more!

We started dating at 14, he proposed at 18, and we got married at 22. He was/is the only guy I've looked at, he's my favorite person to be with, the one person that I can tolerate on the daily and want to be with all the time. We knew because it felt right

I "knew" a few times but the guys didn't know back! I had a series of long-term relationships that didn't pan out. At 29 I finally met a good man who was looking for wife material - on Tinder no less! - we got engaged after 6 months and married 1 year to the day after our first conversation. How did I know? We have similar goals and values. He is smart, nice, handsome, and successful. His friends are amazing and his family isn't crazy. We mesh well together and have great chemistry.
