Should I cut my hair?

OK so for a little while (& by that I mean a year) I've been thinking about cutting my hair. Not a lot, just maybe two inches. I've been growing my hair all my life & never cut. So with that being said, it's quite long & curly. & I really love my hair, but it can be a hassle to take care of, plus I have to detangle it every time I'm in the shower so it doesn't get matted it up in the back & there is always a wad of hair on the comb that I have to throw away.

I told my mother that I wanted to cut a little bit of my hair, but instead of her talking to me about it, she screamed & sweared at me & said "Do you know how many people want your hair????!!!! DON'T YOU DARE CUT IT!!!"

So I decided to come to the women of glow to get better advice & help me see different perspectives on the subject.
