i know this might seem like a stupid question, but are there some types of birth control pills that don’t prevent pregnancy? i went to my first gyno appt and she suggested we start birth control to regulate my periods and treat pcos, but said we would only need to focus on regulating my periods since i’m not sexually active. i know this is a dumb question because i thought all bc pills prevented pregnancy, but the way she worded it made it seem like this medicine would only help my pcos and regulate my periods.
