I did thank you notes and got them all tumblers with mints, chapsticks, lotions, and nice pens.

Plus my family owns a candy store so if my hospital allows food, we will probably bring a tray of candy for the floor staff.

I did it for my last nurse, I gave her Starbucks gift card, chocolate, gum, chap stick and little lotion and she hooked me up with a suite after I had my baby. So, I’m definitely doing it again. Anything is better than the little recovery rooms I’ve been in before.

Texted a friend who is a nurse what would be good to put in bags and she said FOOD. Grab and go easy snacks, healthy and non, to help them keep going on those long shifts. Hitting up Costco soon—thinking Milano cookies, granola bars, etc.

I want to this time. I wish I could have given my nurses ones last time because they were so wonderful. I’m going to do Starbucks double shots and candy and some nice pens probably. Still figuring it out.
