How do u put in contacts????

Its sooo hard and i need them on by june 29 ... cuz im going somewhere that requires alot of pictures😤🙄why is putting on contacts soo hard lol maybe im just scared and paranoid

A lot of putting contacts in is mind over matter.   What I told people when training them to put in contacts is to hold your eye open by your lash line, not your eyelid.  If you're holding your eye by your eyelid, you can still close it.  By your lash line, it's a lot harder.  Also, try putting the contact on the white part of your eye instead of directly on the pupil. This is how I typically do it since I'm afraid of poking myself in the eye but you can touch the white part of your eye all day and it doesn't hurt.  
I also tell people who are nervous about putting in contacts to just practice touching your eye without a contact on your finger.  You're trying to push past a natural reflex to put something in your eye. Once you're comfortable with touching your eye, it's a lot easier to get past that reflex.

When you got them your eye doc taught you how right? For me they literally wouldn’t let me leave until I had done it (taken them out and put them back in) successfully at least 2x. 
If you’re having problems then go back to see your eye doc. They typically have you come back a week or so after getting contacts anyway so they can see how it’s going. But yeah go back to your doc and ask them to help you again. After that you’ll need to practice but just force yourself to wear them everyday instead of glasses and you’ll get the hang of it in no time

They tried putting contacts in my eye for a solid 10 minuets, but my eye flinched closes every single time. I tried by myself and I couldn’t do it.

Just go back to your prescribing opticians and ask if they can help you put them in again as you haven’t got the hang of it yet. It takes a bit of practice :) x
