Best stretch mark prevention lotion?

Both my sisters got horrible stretch marks when they were pregnant (I know that they are genetic!) and I was hoping there was a good lotion out there to prevent them all together or at least limit how bad then get. I’ve seen a few that have good reviews but hoping real mommas or mommas-to-be could assist me. I don’t want to spend TOO much but have a little wiggle room if the stuff is really good!

You’re not going to prevent them but you can aid in trying to keep them minimal. I used coco butter lotion and coconut oil everyday twice a day with my first they didn’t get bad I did get them but they were really light I continued to use it after I had my son as well and they faded pretty lightly. I’m 39 weeks with my second and use a lotion called bioderma and I use coconut oil on my belly twice a day sometimes even three. I got more stretch marks this time but they still aren’t terrible they’re light and shiny.

Yes they are mostly genetics but staying hydrated, moisturized and gaining weight at steady pace can help. I use 100 % virgin coconut oil after every shower. Didn’t get any stretch marks with my first. I’ll be 30 weeks tomorrow and none so far as well.

I used palmers momma stretch mark lotion. I never got one stretch mark on my stomach, only on the top of my vagina which no one can see. That being said. Stretch marks are usually genetic along with skin elasticity. The lotion could def help but nothing will prevent if it runs in your family.
