RN or BSN and why?!

Also how long were your clinicals and what were they like?! Currently almost done with my medical assistant but I know I want to continue on. I also have a 7 month old so I want to know if it’s doable.

Many facilities would rather hire nurses who already their BSN. Some facilities hire RNs on a conditional basis and will give you a few years to complete your BSN. My advice is to go straight for the RN, BSN. You’ll be glad to get it over with!

You make more if you get your BSN and you can later get your bachelors in nursing but if you get your rn you make less and have to go back to school to get your bsn to even get your bachelors in nursing
