When to get the car ready?

I'm 33 weeks today and was wondering around what time should I be getting the car ready for my little man?

Plobably around 36 weeks since after that you don't know what'll happen. But you can get it ready anytime, doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Leave out the car seat. When you go into labor (especially on your first) you have time. There are always those daily used items you won't have in your hospital bag. At 34w we had (and will have) a prepped bag (with room for the day to day items) in the car seat near the door. When I go into labor we should have enough time to run home and get it. Also you are in the hospital for a couple of days so it's not hard for hubby/SO to go home and get said bag (pack the items not in it) and the car seat. Remember if you get in an accident you cannot use that car seat and it's not same day insurance will replace it. Best bet it to bring it to hospital when in labor or after baby is born.

Put the carseat in yesterday at 31+5. Just wanted to make sure we could figure it out or if we needed help before i got to big to fit comfortably into the back seat to even mess with it. I had intentions of taking it out but s.o said leave it in its not hurting nothing lol
